About Solook
Shahin Sadeghzadeh (Shidsa)
I am Shahin Sadeghzadeh (Sheed.Sa), born in 1970 in Mashhad. I completed my undergraduate studies in Geology at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and received my Master’s degree in Petrology from Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran.
My journey began in the depths of the Earth— I studied soil, understood stone, and learned the silent language of nature. Yet destiny called me to another path: a journey from the depth of the earth to the depth of the soul.
My encounter with Yoga and Meditation opened a new door within me— as if a gentle breeze touched my spirit and revealed the world in a new light. For years, under the guidance of devoted teachers, I trained my body, mind, and spirit.
Eventually, I founded the New Birth Yoga Academy, a sanctuary for healing, growth, and inner rebirth. For fourteen years I taught, learned, and walked alongside my students, until migration, and later the silence of the COVID era, brought that chapter to a close.
In Canada, Poetry, especially the poetry of Rumi, became my refuge— verses that open a window of sky within the human heart. For ten years I lived with his poetry, cried with it, rose with it, and shared what I discovered in interpretation circles with seekers of the path.
The fruit of these years is four books— not merely written pages, but the distilled essence of experience, insight, and spiritual reflection. These works are an invitation to journey inward: to explore the meaning of life, the purpose of human existence, and the quiet voice of one’s true being.
Through the years, Retreats and spiritual gatherings became bridges between myself and those seeking peace and awareness. All proceeds from these programs were devoted to medical, educational, and essential support for individuals in need in Iran.
Today, I have founded Solook, a cultural, artistic, and spiritual center dedicated to Yoga, Meditation, and the inner journey from the outer world to the realm of stillness.
Solook is a home for discovery, for insight, and for listening to the silent voice of the soul.
My hope is that this space becomes a sanctuary for seekers of truth— for those longing for well-being, awareness, and enduring peace.
